Allen Elkins, Pastor

Allen is in his first full-time pastorate.  He comes to Central from Walnut Street Baptist Church in Jonesboro where he served as Minister of Education.  He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Ministries from Williams Baptist College and then went on to receive his Masters of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Allen and his wife, Renee, have 2 daughters and 2 sons.  Allen’s hobbies include golf, reading, sports in general, and shopping for shoes (pretty weird, huh?).

Matt Rothacher, Minister to Students and Recreation

Matt joined us here at Central back in May 2010.  He has a wonderful wife, Julie, and they have two beautiful daughters and are expecting their third child.  Matt comes to us by way of El Dorado.  Matt is a Florida boy who brings a different flavor to the work here at Central.  God is using him in great ways.  Matt is a family man who believes that he is the primary Bible teacher for his family.  His passion for God and students cannot be matched.  The Rothachers are a welcome addition to CBC!!!
