Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14, NIV)

At CBC, we're committed to using significant amounts of our resources and energy to reach and teach children. We offer age-graded Sunday School departments for all children beginning at birth. Whenever services are happening here for adults, we also strive to provide opportunities for your children to worship and learn as well.

  • Awana is Central's newest ministry to our children! AWANA happens every Wednesday night, and features fun, games, and challenging handbook work centered around the memorization and application of God's Word.
  • Children's Church happens every Sunday except the last Sunday of each month. Children join the church family in the Sanctuary for the first ten minutes or so of the worship service, then depart for their own special time of worship and Bible Study.
  • Before departing the Sanctuary for Children's Church, kids get to participate in a special Children's Sermon delivered by the pastor or by a lay children's leader.

We consider it a privilege to be entrusted with children, and are committed to treating them as true blessings from God at every step of the way.
